This memorial website was created in memory of our friend and colleague, Mark Campbell.
Mark joined abrdn in 2016 and worked as a Senior Change Analyst in the Client Operations team as part of the Investments Vector COO. Mark was extremely hard working, and ambitious and was well liked by everyone who worked with him.
Out of work, Mark was well known in the local community, being heavily involved in Stonehaven Athletic Football Club – initially as a player, then captain, and more recently as club secretary and part of the management team. He was also a keen cyclist, using his talent and enthusiasm to complete charity bike rides.
Our thoughts are with Mark’s wife, Danielle, their three daughters Amy, Emma and Grace, and his wider family and friends.
I was shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Mark's passing. I had the pleasure of working with him in the Trail team. He really was one of the nicest people you could ever meet, not just a supportive colleague but a good friend too. He will be sadly missed and fondly remembered. Thinking of his wife, daughters and the rest of his family at this awful time. xx
I worked with Mark in the Aberdeen office and he was just a good guy and lovely to be around. Always chatting and up for a bit of banter! When I heard of his passing I couldn't believe it, he is greatly missed. My thoughts go out to Danielle, his girls and the rest of the family. Thinking of you all.
Please accept my deepest condolence. I got to know Mark well through work, he was a great guy, always had time for a greeting and a chat. Very much missed by all in 10 QT.
